Marika Adam

Marika Adam (born March 13, 1954 in Wegberg ) is a German- Austrian actress and theater director .

Life

Adam studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar , the Vienna Academy for Music and Performing Arts , as well as with Susi Nicoletti , Samy Molcho and Otto Schenk . She also attended the Cologne Dance Academy and was an actress and singer at the Burgtheater between 1976 and 1983 .

This was followed by engagements at the Theater an der Wien from 1983 to 1984 , at the Deutsches Theater in Munich in 1984, at Theater in der Josefstadt from 1984 to 1998 and in Nuremberg , Düsseldorf , Bonn and St. Gallen .

In addition to her theater engagements, Adam also appeared occasionally in television and film productions in supporting roles. In addition, she took part in radio play recordings and stories for ORF , BR and HR .

Adam teaches acting and speaking technique at the Vienna Conservatory and at the Prayner Conservatory where she also directs.
