Mariusz Jurkiewicz (born February 3, 1982 in Lubin ) is a Polish handball player .

The 1.99 meter tall and 103 kilogram heavy left back player played for SDC San Antonio (2009/2010), JD Arrate (2004-2009), BM Ciudad Real and Zagłębie Lubin . From summer 2010 he was again under contract with BM Ciudad Real. With San Antonio he played in the European Cup Winners' Cup (2009/2010), with Arrate in the EHF Cup (2008/2009) and with Ciudad Real in the EHF Champions League (2003/2004). In the summer of 2011 Atlético Madrid took over the league license from Ciudad Real, for which Jurkiewicz subsequently ran up. Two seasons later he joined the Polish club Wisła Płock . For the 2015/16 season he moves to the big Polish competitor KS Kielce , who is supervised by his former coach Talant Dujshebaev .

Mariusz Jurkiewicz is part of the Polish national team , as well as for the European handball championship in 2010 and 2014 . He also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . He has played 160 international matches so far, scoring 272 goals. (As of December 11, 2016)
