Mark Reynolds (born May 7, 1987 in Motherwell , North Lanarkshire ) is a Scottish football player who has been under contract with Aberdeen FC since 2013 and is currently loaned out to Dundee United .

Player career

Motherwell FC

From 2005 to 2011 Reynolds played in the first team at Motherwell FC. He had previously played in the club's U-19 division between 2003 and 2005. In June 2008, the Glasgow Rangers wanted to sign Reynolds, but the offer was rejected.

Sheffield Wednesday

On January 15, 2011 he moved to the English club Sheffield Wednesday . In early 2012 he was loaned to Aberdeen FC to get match practice there.

National team

Reynolds participated with Scotland in the 2007 U-20 World Cup in Canada , where he scored one of the only two goals for the Scottish team alongside Ross Campbell . Reynolds scored his goal for a 1-0 lead against Costa Rica , but Scotland lost 2-1. From 2007 to 2008 he also played in the Scottish U-21 national team .
