Markus Goerisch

Markus Goerisch (born November 26, 1967 ) is a German actor and director .

Life

Markus Goerisch comes from Darmstadt in Hesse , but spent his youth in North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1985 Goerisch went to Munich to study theater, film and television at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . He studied acting and directing at the University of Music and Theater in Munich .

Markus Goerisch directs for music and spoken theater and has also been a lecturer for scenic lessons with a focus on music theater since 1995 . He gives workshops and classes in the areas of song, song, musical and scenic interpretation. In cooperation with the cultural office of the Nibelungen Festival City of Worms am Rhein, Goerisch directed the open-air youth theater series “Theater im Kreuzgang” from 1999 to 2001 and initiated and staged music theater for young audiences.

1995 to 2018 conducts Goerisch at the Stage and Musical School Frankfurt / Main Department of the Musical . His students include the singer Helene Fischer , the musical actors Riccardo Greco and Alexander Prosek, and the actress and singer Christiane Klimt .

Markus Goerisch directs for theaters and festivals in Mainz , Mannheim , Frankfurt and Munich . He gained outdoor experience a. a. through engagements at the Ettlingen Castle Festival (2007/2008) and the Alzenau Castle Festival, where he has been staging since 2019.
