Markus Henssler

Markus Henssler (born May 13, 1971 in Waiblingen ) is a German author , journalist , director and reporter .

life and career

Henssler was born in Waiblingen in the Rems-Murr district near Stuttgart . After he left the vocational college in Backnang , he did his community service at the Caritas Association in Stuttgart . He did a two-year traineeship at RTL Radio in Stuttgart. Then he went to Antenne 1 , because the RTL location had to close for media policy reasons. Then Henssler made a year and a half world tour. There he got the inspiration and the ideas for later reports. Back in Germany, he joined the Cologne-based production company crea-tvand acted as the manager of Verona Feldbusch . For private reasons he lived in Italy on Lake Como for four years . He is the author of the book Alphabet of Love .

In 2005, Henssler worked as a director in the documentary The Modest Prince . This was followed by several reports for various formats of the infotainment program Galileo and documentary series for VOX and SWR . For the 2009 report Estevan Toubape - Rollis for Africa , he received several awards. Since 2010 he has been responsible for the TURBO series - Das Automagazin on SPORT1 . Recently he can be seen at Adventure Life on Kabel 1 , where he tests gadgets, among other things.

Henssler is a fan of the Bundesliga soccer club VfB Stuttgart and co-founder of mitesszentrale. He is married and has one daughter.
