Marloes de Boer (born January 30, 1982 in Den Ham ) is a Dutch soccer player who has been active in the Eredivisie for FC Twente from Enschede since the 2007/08 season .

Club career

De Boer began playing football in 1989 in the F-youth of their home club VV Den Ham. After she had become champion with the A-Jugend, she moved to CVV Oranje Nassau in Groningen in 2001 in the Hoofdklasse , at that time the top division in Dutch women's football. The central defender was active with the Groningen for four years , with whom she won the KNVB Cup in 2005. She went to Be Quick '28 in Zwolle , where she was voted best player in the league at the end of her second season in 2006/07. She moved to the newly founded Eredivisie for FC Twente, with whom she won the cup again in 2008. In the cup final against FC Utrecht on May 25, 2008, the captain had to be replaced by Marije Brummel in the eighth minute . She had suffered a cruciate ligament rupture that put her out of action for almost a year, so that she only came to three appearances in the Eredivisie in the 2008/09 season. The bad luck with injuries remained true to her: In preparation for the 2009/10 season, she had to undergo surgery after another cruciate ligament tear and was canceled again for the entire season.

In the 2010/11 season she was first used in the Twente women's ATC'65 youth team, where she was back in shape. Then she quickly belonged back to the regular formation of the Eredivisie women and made a significant contribution to the championship of FC Twente with two goals in 17 games.

National team

De Boer already played in the Dutch U-14 team, which became European champions in 1996 (6 against 6). In the U-16-, U-17- (here she made 16 games with five goals) and U-18 teams she belonged to the tribe; with 20 games and four goals she is the record international of the Dutch U-18 girls.

On June 14, 2001 de Boer made his debut against the Czech Republic in the senior national team . That year she also won the silver medal with the Dutch team at the Universiade in Beijing. After her long injury break, she made only two preparation games for the European Championship in 2009 ; Bond coach Vera Pauw appointed her to the EM squad . By the European Championship she had made 60 international matches in Oranje , in which she scored four goals.
