This article covers the Dutch women's national football team at the 2009 European Championship in Finland .

qualification

The team of the Netherlands for the qualification are in Group 4 and met with Belgium , Germany , the Switzerland and Wales . With three wins, three draws and two defeats, the Dutch women finished second behind Germany.

The Dutch won the play-off games against Spain and qualified for a European Championship finals for the first time.
