This article covers the Norwegian national women's football team at the 2009 European Championship in Finland .

qualification

Norway has for qualification are in Group 6 and met with Israel , Austria , Poland and Russia . With seven wins and one draw, the Norwegians became group winners without conceding a goal.

Russia prevailed in the play-off games against Scotland due to the away goals rule and also qualified for the European Championship finals.
