Marlos Moreno Durán (born September 20, 1996 in Medellín ) is a Colombian football player who is currently under contract with Manchester City .
Career
In the club
Moreno started playing football at Atlético Nacional in his native Medellín at the age of 14 . His first game with the first team in the Categoría Primera A he completed on October 16, 2014 in a 1: 2 defeat against Deportivo Pasto . With his team he won the Apertura 2014 , the Finalización 2015 , in which he scored 1-0 in the final second leg after 30 seconds, and the Superliga de Colombia 2016. Moreno's greatest success with Atlético Nacional was winning the Copa Libertadores in of the 2016 season .
At the beginning of August 2016, Moreno signed a five-year contract with Manchester City, dated June 30, 2021, and was loaned directly to the Spanish Primera División at Deportivo La Coruña for the 2016/17 season.
For the 2017/18 season , Moreno was loaned out to FC Girona within the Primera División . There he only came to two league appearances.
On January 16, 2018 Moreno was until the end of season 2018 by Brazil at Flamengo lent. There he came in the state championship of Rio de Janeiro and the Série A to 25 missions, in which he scored a hit.
In the national team
After Moreno had previously played in the U-17 selection , he made his debut in the A selection on March 24, 2016 in a 3-2 win against Bolivia as part of the qualification for the 2018 World Cup . In May 2016 he was appointed by coach José Pékerman to the squad for the Copa América Centenario 2016 , where he scored his first international goal in the 2-3 defeat against Costa Rica in the last group game. With his team, he finished after a 1: 0 win over the USA in the match for 3rd place eventually finished third.
