House Marschnerstrasse 41g

The row house group Marschnerstraße 35-41g in the Pasing district of the Bavarian capital Munich was built from 1908 to 1910. The group of terraced houses on Marschnerstrasse is a protected architectural monument .

The terraced houses in Heimatstil were of Bernhard Borst built. For the villa colony Pasing II, the group of houses means the move away from single- family houses to the more economical row of houses. In the Rembrandtstraße we find also two of these detached groups (Nos. 10-32 and no. 15-21).

In the long row of houses, monotony is avoided by varying the design. Gables and dwelling houses are interspersed between the eaves side buildings . The alternation of flat bay windows and balconies and especially the high corner buildings (N. 35 and 41g) determine the appearance. Some houses have been disturbed in their appearance by renovations and facade smoothing.
