Martin David Holley
Martin David Holley (born December 31, 1954 in Pensacola , Florida , USA ) is an American clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Memphis .
Life
Martin David Holley received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee on May 8, 1987 .
On 18 May 2004 it appointed Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Rusibisir and auxiliary bishop in Washington . The Archbishop of Washington, Theodore Edgar Cardinal McCarrick , donated him episcopal ordination on July 2 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Pensacola-Tallahassee, John Huston Ricard SSJ , and the auxiliary bishop emeritus in Washington, Leonard James Olivier SVD .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Memphis on August 23, 2016. The inauguration took place on October 19 of the same year.
On October 24, 2018 , Pope Francis removed him from office.
