Martin Keune

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Martin Keune (born July 27, 1959 in Kierspe ; † December 27, 2017 in Berlin ) was a writer based in Berlin and Semlin .

Live and act

Keune was the managing director of an advertising agency. He was one of the founders and chairmen of the Berlin refugee sponsors Syria association .

In 1978, Martin Keune worked as a plaster painter at the Kranzler-Eck in Berlin on Kurfürstendamm .

From 1984 to 1989 Keune worked as a background artist , screenwriter and in the comics department of Gerhard Hahn's animation production before he set up his own advertising agency.

From 2003 to 2013, a passionate runner, Martin Keune was co-organizer of the Semliner Drei-Seen-Lauf, a fun run event that has existed since 1978 with up to 1000 participants, which traditionally takes place on the last Saturday in July.

In June 2016 Keune auctioned three bars of children's chocolate with the children's portrait of soccer player Jérôme Boateng for the benefit of the refugee sponsors Syria . Boateng had previously signed the boards for the refugee initiative. The action was a satirical response to previous derogatory statements by Alexander Gauland and Pegida Bodensee and attracted media attention across Germany. The three panels together generated auction proceeds of € 3,690.

Martin Keune died on December 27, 2017 at the age of 58 of a brain tumor that he had only heard about three months earlier.
