Martin Kissel (born November 22, 1958 in Dahn ) is a German radio journalist .

Life

Kissel came to Freiburg im Breisgau to study in 1980 and graduated in Basel in 1990 as a certified sports teacher. In the same year he went to the private " Schwarzwaldradio ". In 1991 he reported as a sports reporter for national private radio stations from the Swimming World Championships in Perth , Australia, the Australian Open in Melbourne , the Wimbledon Championships in tennis, the European Swimming Championships in Athens and the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo. After "Schwarzwaldradio" was taken over by " Radio Regenbogen " in 1992, he switched to SWF3 - initially as an author and parodist, then as a reporter and editor. His first series on SWF3 became "Sielmanns Tierleben" in 1992. Since 2001 Kissel has been regularly delivering the Tagesschau remix to the satirical program " Addition " on WDR 2 . Kissel has been online with the derpodcast.de website since March 26, 2012 . He lives in Freiburg. As a non-party direct candidate, Kissel ran in the 281 Freiburg constituency in the elections to the 18th German Bundestag and won 1.1% of the vote.

Five months before the Bundestag election, in April 2013, Kissel applied to the SWR for unpaid pre-election leave, which is to be granted in accordance with the Basic Law (Art. 48: (1) Anyone applying for a seat in the Bundestag is entitled to the preparation vacation required by his choice. ). Thereupon Kissel received a registered letter from Südwestrundfunk with the "notification of the termination of the cooperation" for the SWR, thus practically a termination after more than 20 years as a reporter, author and editor. Since then, Kissel has been in legal dispute with the SWR, the progress of which Kissel has documented in his Internet portal www.derpodcast.de.

Individual evidence

  1. On January 27, 1991 Boris Becker won the Australian Open and became number 1 in world tennis for the first time. In a previous game with Becker, a spectator had drawn naked and showed bare bust. In the absence of Becker's opinion, Kissel then parodied Becker with an "original sound fake". The parody looked so real that it was accepted as the original sound on some stations. The result: The real interview with Becker after his tournament victory was then viewed as a fake. It was only broadcast after a lot of persuasion.
