Martina Suchá (born November 20, 1980 in Nové Zámky , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Slovak tennis player .

Career

Martina Suchá started playing tennis at the age of eight.

In her professional career she won two WTA tournaments in singles, as well as five singles and two doubles titles in ITF tournaments.

Once she was in the round of 16 of a Grand Slam tournament , in 2002 at the Australian Open . A few weeks later she reached her best position in the world rankings with position 37 .

Between 2002 and 2005 she played five individual games for the Slovak Fed Cup team , of which she was able to win three.
