Marvin Tepper (born August 22, 1986 in Berlin , GDR ) is a German ice hockey player who was last under contract with the Lausitzer Füchsen in the DEL2 until December 2015 .

Career

Marvin Tepper began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the Berlin Capitals . From there he moved to the city rival Eisbären Berlin , for whose junior team the Eisbären Juniors Berlin he was active in the German Junior League from 2001 to 2004 . From 2003 to 2005 he also played for the Eisbären Juniors in the ice hockey regional league and later in the ice hockey major league . In the 2004/05 season , the winger made his professional debut in the German Ice Hockey League . In his only use he remained pointless and received two penalty minutes.

In the summer of 2005, Tepper moved to REV Bremerhaven in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga , where he was under contract for two and a half years before moving to their league rivals EV Ravensburg during the 2007/08 season. From 2008 to 2010, the former junior national player stood on the ice for the Lausitzer Füchse in the 2nd Bundesliga. There he was able to convince with 107 scorer points in 115 games and was signed for the 2010/11 season by the Krefeld Penguins from the German Ice Hockey League. The left shooter also received a sponsorship license with which he was still eligible to play for the Lausitzer Füchse in the 2nd Bundesliga. After he clearly missed the play-offs with the Penguins, he returned to the Bietigheim Steelers in the 2nd Bundesliga in January 2012 .

After the end of the season, Tepper was signed by the Iserlohn Roosters for the 2012/13 DEL season , but received little ice time in the DEL, so that he only collected 6 scorer points in 50 games of the season. Since he could not prevail in the DEL, he decided in the summer of 2013 to return to the second division and signed a contract with the Dresdner Eislöwen from the DEL2 . At the end of November 2013 the contract with the Dresdner Eislöwen was terminated, in summer 2014 the Eispiraten Crimmitschau signed it . After a season he returned to the Lausitzer Füchsen . However, his fixed-term contract was not extended.

International

For Germany , Tepper took part in the U20 Junior B World Cup in 2006 , where he and his team achieved promotion to the top division. He himself scored one goal in five games and gave one assist.
