Mary Alice
Mary Alice Smith (born December 3, 1941 in Indianola , Sunflower County , Mississippi ) is an American actress . Her best-known role was that of the oracle in the film Matrix Revolutions , in which she replaced Gloria Foster , the actress in Matrix and Matrix Reloaded .
Life
Mary Alice graduated from Chicago State University and worked as a teacher in Chicago . Mid-1960s, she moved to New York City and had her 1971 debut on Broadway as Cora in No Place to Be Somebody .
