Maryja Mamaschuk
Maryja Mamaschuk ( Belarusian Марыя Мамашук ; * August 31, 1992 ) is a Belarusian wrestler . In 2014 she became vice European champion in the weight class up to 63 kg body weight.
Career
Maryja Mamaschuk started wrestling as a teenager in 2005. As an adult, the 1.63 meter tall athlete wrestles in the Olympic weight class up to 63 kg, belongs to a sports club in Gomel and has been trained by Sergei Smal since 2011 . She is a student.
In 2008 she took part in an international championship for the first time. She took 11th place in the Junior European Championship (age group Cadets) in Daugavpils in the weight class up to 56 kg. In July 2009 she took 3rd place at the Junior European Championships (Cadets) in Zrenjanin in the weight class up to 60 kg and thus won her first medal at an international championship with the bronze medal .
In 2010 and 2011, she did not appear in international championships, which was due to the strong competition in her home country. Your main competitor there is Nastassja Hutschok . In May 2012 she was used by the Belarusian Wrestling Association at the Olympic qualification tournament in Helsinki in the weight class up to 63 kg. However, she failed there in the first round against the French ex-world champion Audrey Prieto . In June 2012, she won at the Junior European Championship (Juniors age group) in the same weight class behind Maria Ljulkowa from Russia and before Tatjana Lawrentschuk , Ukraine and Laura Elena Gavriliuc, Romania a silver medal .
In March 2013, Maryja Mamaschuk started in Tbilisi for the first time at a European Women's Championship. But she lost there in the first round against Inna Traschukowa from Russia, dropped out and only came in 14th place. At the Women's World Championships in Budapest in September 2013, she had two notable victories over Geetika Jachon from India and Hanna Wassylenko from Ukraine. After a defeat in her third fight against the Olympic third Jackeline Rentería Castillo from Colombia she was eliminated and finished in 9th place.
In April 2014, she presented herself as much improved at the European Women's Championships in Vantaa, Finland, where she won the silver medal with victories over Maria Diana, Italy, Henna Johansson , Sweden and Dschanan Manolowa from Bulgaria and a defeat in the final against Anastasija Grigorjeva from Latvia .
