Mathias Mongenast (born July 12, 1843 in Diekirch ; † January 10, 1926 in Luxembourg ) was a Luxembourg politician and lawyer.

Mathias Mongenast was Minister of State of Luxembourg for 25 days, from October 12 to November 6, 1915. This is the shortest term of office of any Luxembourg Prime Minister. For a little over a year, during the reign of Victor Thorn , Mongenast was then President of the Council of State (April 1, 1916 to June 19, 1917).
