Hubert Loutsch

Hubert Loutsch (born November 6, 1878 in Monnerich , † October 24, 1946 in Brussels ) was a Luxembourg politician .

Hubert Loutsch was a lawyer. On November 6, 1915, he became Minister of State and President of the Government and Foreign Minister of Luxembourg. The Loutsch government consisted exclusively of members of the right-wing party . In the Luxembourg parliament, the Chamber , the politicians of the left were in the majority. Thereupon the Grand Duchess Maria-Adelheid had the Chamber dissolved on December 23, 1915. But the right-wing party did not achieve a majority in the new Chamber either. On January 11, 1916, the Loutsch government lost a vote of confidence and resigned. He was succeeded on February 24, 1916 by Victor Thorn .

From 1920 to 1934 Hubert Loutsch was president of the insurance company "La Luxembourgeoise" . From 1925 to 1934 Loutsch was a member of the Chamber as a member of the "Union nationale indépendante".
