Matt Davidson Rider Crooks (born January 20, 1994 in Leeds ) is an English football player .

Career

Matt Crooks began his youth career at Manchester United . He then played in the junior teams of Huddersfield Town until 2011 . From the 2011/12 season he was in the professional squad of Huddersfield. In 2012, Crooks was awarded to FC Halifax Town in the National League . In the 2014/15 season he played on loan for a month at Hartlepool United . In November 2014, a loan to Accrington Stanley followed . The third division team signed the midfielder in February 2015. In January 2016 he and his teammate at Accrington Josh Windass signed a contract with the Glasgow Rangers , which will run from the 2016/17 season .
