Matthias Kress
Matthias Kress (* 1969 ; also: Matthias Kreß ) is a German actor and co-producer.
Life
After training as an actor at the stage studio for the performing arts in Hamburg, Matthias Kress quickly devoted himself to a diverse and international theater and film life. In 2002 and 2006 he expanded his training in Paris and the USA .
Even before the start of his acting studies in Hamburg , he was with independent productions in southern Germany on tour presence and Stuttgart stages. From 1995 to 1998 he was a member of the Compagnie de Comédie in Rostock .
In 2004 he cast the leading role in Faust II , directed by Manfred Gorr at the Hessisches Landestheater Marburg . This was followed in 2005 by engagements at the Theater im Zimmer in Hamburg and at the Alten Schauspielhaus in Stuttgart. From 2007 to 2009 he played the co-leading role in Oscar Wilde's The Portrait of Dorian Gray at the Baden-Baden Theater, directed by Maria Elena Hackbarth.
On television , Stratmann was one of the regulars in the WDR production and had a continuous role there as "Egon Häberle". From 1999 to 2002 he was in 81 episodes of the television series Alpha Team - The lifesaver in the operating room to see
In addition to his engagements in English and French film, Matthias Kress is now also working as a co-producer in this area . The documentary Back to the Fatherland deserves special mention .
