Matthias Minder (born February 3, 1993 in Winterthur ) is a Swiss football goalie . Minder currently plays for Neuchâtel Xamax in the Super League

Career

In the 2012/13 season, Minder was the third goalkeeper in the squad of FC Winterthur's first team and on May 13, 2015, he was in a competitive match for Winterthur for the first time against AC Bellinzona . At that time, however, he was mainly employed as the second team's goalie, where he made 20 appearances in the 2012/13 season and 22 appearances in the 2013/14 season. When Leite and Studer left Winterthur in the summer of 2015 , Minder became the first goalkeeper in the 2014/15 season and was able to complete 32 missions for the Eulachstädter. However, he had to give up this position again next season when coach Jürgen Seeberger gave preference to David von Ballmoos, who was borrowed from the Young Boys, as the first goalkeeper. When von Ballmoos left FCW after two years, Minder became the regular goalkeeper in Winterthur again.

After several years in Winterthur, in the summer of 2018, Minder moved to the other side of the Röstigraben as a replacement goal for the newly promoted Neuchâtel Xamax .
