Taulant Fatmir Seferi ( Macedonian Тауљант Сулејманов ; born November 15, 1996 in Kumanovo ) is an Albanian - North Macedonian football player who is on loan from BSC Young Boys at Neuchâtel Xamax .

Career

society

Seferi was born to Albanian parents in Kumanovo. He started his career at Milano Kumanovo .

After nine years of playing, he moved to the Rabotnički Skopje Academy , where he made his debut as a professional footballer in 2013.

In 2015, Seferi moved to Switzerland and started playing for Young Boys Bern's second team . In February 2015, he made his debut in the first team against Grasshoppers Zurich . The rest of the season, the following and the first half of the 2016/17 season, Seferi had to pause after knee surgery and other injuries. It wasn't until two years later that he was substituted on in the final minutes of the game against FC Sion .

In 2017, Seferi had a groin operation that again forced him to take a break for the rest of the season. In 2018 he was loaned to FC Wohlen . He played eight games and scored three goals. In the same year it was awarded to FC Winterthur . There he played 31 games and scored ten goals. In 2019 Seferi was loaned out again, this time to the Swiss first division club Neuchâtel Xamax.

National team

In 2014, Seferi made his debut in the North Macedonian national soccer team in a friendly against Cameroon . In 2017 he moved to the Albanian U-21 national team and decided to play for Albania from then on. In the U-21 he played twelve games. In November 2019, Seferi was called up for two games by the Albanian national soccer team against Andorra and France in qualifying for the 2021 European Championship . On November 14, 2019, he made his debut in the game against Andorra, where he came on for Ylber Ramadani in the 73rd minute .
