Raphaël Nuzzolo (born July 5, 1983 in Biel / Bienne ) is a Swiss football player who has been playing for Neuchâtel Xamax in the Challenge League and Super League since summer 2016 .

Career

Nuzzolo played for FC Biel-Bienne for nine years in his youth . After two seasons in the professional team of FC Biel-Bienne, he moved to Neuchâtel Xamax in 2001 .

In 2006, when Miroslav Blažević was the coach of Neuchâtel Xamax, he said Nuzzolo had a future in the Swiss national team . On February 19, 2006, he scored his first goal in a 2-2 draw against Grasshopper Club Zurich .

During the 2008/09 season Nuzzolo was converted from a striker to a midfielder by coach Néstor Clausen . In the 2009/10 season , when Neuchâtel Xamax had a good start to the season, he played every possible game and has become a fixture at Xamax over the years. Among other things, he last held the office of captain.

For the 2011/12 season he moved to the BSC Young Boys and signed a four-year contract. In the summer of 2016, Neuchâtel Xamax announced the arrival and return of the midfielder.
