Maurice Brunner (born January 29, 1991 in Männedorf ) is a Swiss football player who is under contract with FC Vaduz .

Career

Brunner went through his youth career at FC Stäfa and later moved to the youth department of FC Zurich . In August 2011 he made his professional debut in the second leg in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League against FC Bayern Munich . He came on in the 65th minute when the score was 0: 1 for Dušan Đurić . In the championship he made his debut on matchday 9 in the 1: 3 defeat against FC Luzern . In the 80th minute he was substituted on for Oliver Buff . In the following season he was loaned to FC Winterthur for the first half of the season, but where he only managed 66 minutes in seven games and scored one goal.

For the new 2015/16 season he finally moved to FC Biel-Bienne , where he made a total of 25 appearances in the Challenge League and scored three goals.

On June 13, 2016, FC Vaduz announced that they had signed Brunner for 3 years until summer 2019. He made his competitive debut on June 30, 2016 in the first leg of the first qualifying round of the 2016/17 UEFA Europa League against Sileks Kratovo (3-1). He scored his first goal in the same competition, in the second leg of the second qualifying round against FC Midtjylland (2-2) on July 21, 2016.

National team

In October 2011 Brunner was called up for the U-20 friendly against Germany . The game was lost with 1: 4 and Brunner was substituted on for Simon Grether in the second half .
