Maurice Compte

Maurice Compte (born 20th century ) is an American actor of Cuban descent. He became famous for his roles in the series Breaking Bad and Narcos .

Career

Maurice Compte is the son of Cuban migrants and has been an actor since 1996. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, he first appeared in series such as Chicago Hope - Endstation Hope and Pacific Blue - The Beach Police . This was followed by minor roles in films such as Before Nightfall and Double Whammy . His first recurring role played Compte as Charlie Gutierrez in the series E-Ring - Military Minds from 2005. Other guest appearances such as in Monk and Navy CIS: LA followed.

In 2011 he played the role of cartel member Gaff in the hit television series Breaking Bad . A year later he was featured in End of Watch . Other roles in series such as Bones and Criminal Minds followed, before he played the role of Danny Ortiz alongside Liam Neeson in the film Rest in Peace - A Walk Among the Tombstones in 2014 . In 2015, he gained greater fame than Horacio Carrillo on the Netflix series Narcos .

Since his role in Narcos , he has now regularly taken on larger series supporting roles. Among other things, he played Diego Jimenez in Power from 2017 to 2018 . Supporting roles in The Last Ship and Mayans MC , a spin-off from the hit series Sons of Anarchy, followed in 2018 .
