Maurizio Magno

Maurizio Magno (born September 14, 2003 ) is a young German actor and former child actor .

Life

Magno comes from a German-Italian family. His German mother Kathrin is a doctor , his Italian father Valerio works as an editor and cameraman at RTL . He has four siblings, some of whom are already active as actors.

Magno wanted to be in front of the camera as a child. He did a photo shoot first and then applied to an agency for child actors. Immediately after his first casting, at the age of 6, he was hired for a role in the ZDF crime series Kommissar Stolberg . He played little Anton Röber, one of the two children of the widow Maren Röber ( Katharina Böhm ). He had another episode role in 2011 in the Sat.1 series The Last Bull . He played Timo Schumann, who is beaten up by his adoptive father, a choleric professor ( Jockel Tschiersch ). In 2011 he was part of the regular cast of the sketch comedy series Knallerfrauen .

In 2011 he completed a theater workshop in the Junge Theater Bonn.

In the television film A Year After Tomorrow (2012) he played the little boy Andreas Nagel, the son of a teacher who was the victim of a rampage and who couldn't understand that his mother will never come back. In the German-American film Houston (2013), Magno starred alongside Ulrich Tukur . He had a leading role in Til Schweiger's movie comedy Kokowääh 2 (2013), playing Nik, one of the children. He had received the role after a successful casting in the presence of Schweiger. In March 2013 he was seen again in a series episode role, this time in SOKO Cologne . He played Daniel Neumann, the eight-year-old son of the bank robber Marlene Neumann ( Christina Hecke ). In the movie Rubinrot (2013) he played the role of little Robert White; he was the late brother of Lucas Montrose ( Axel Milberg ).

In the ZDF series Heartbreaker - Father of Four Sons , Magno was seen in a leading role in the series in 2014 and 2015 in the first two seasons. He embodied Jakobus "Jakob" Tabarius, the youngest son of pastor Andreas Tabarius ( Simon Böer ). In the second episode of season 3, he leaves his home and goes to a boarding school for gifted people in Bavaria . In the children's film Burg Schreckenstein , which was released in German cinemas in October 2016, Magno played the main role of the 11-year-old pupil Stephan, who initially came to the Burg Schreckenstein boarding school as an outsider . He was also seen as Count Tetrich in the children's film Lilli the witch saves Christmas (2017). In the Rosamunde Pilcher film Raus in den Sturm , which premiered in September 2019 as part of the ZDF “Herzkino” series, Magno played 15-year-old Pete Hawley, who suffers from the separation of his mother and foster father and rebels against it .

He was also in front of the camera with Anke Engelke in a commercial for Hannoversche Leben .

Magno lives in the Satzvey district in Mechernich , where he first attended school. He is now a student at the St. Michael Grammar School in Bad Münstereifel .
