Maximilian Brauer

Maximilian Brauer (born December 31, 1986 in East Berlin ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Maximilian Brauer made his first experiences at the theater at the P14 youth theater of the then Volksbühne on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin. In 2006 he began studying at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig , but broke off after two years when he was hired by Sebastian Hartmann at the Centraltheater there . In 2010 Brauer caught up with his university degree, in 2011 he went back to Berlin and has played at the Volksbühne ever since.

Brauer had roles in Leipzig, among others, in Anton Chekhov's Kirschgarten , in Peter Handke's public abuse and in One Long Day's Journey into the Night by Tennessee Williams , as well as Karl Moor in Friedrich Schiller's Robber . In the Schwank Pension Schöller by Wilhelm Jacoby and Carl Laufs he was on stage, in Sebastian Baumgarten's staging of the Brecht play The Good Man of Sezuan was the brewer of the water seller Wang . In Berlin he has so far played the title role in Molière's Conceited Sick , directed by Martin Wuttke , as well as in his plays Der Geizige (directed by Frank Castorf ) and Don Juan (directed by René Pollesch ). In 2016 Brauer was seen in the solo piece Krieg by Icelandic performance artist Ragnar Kjartansson , who also directed.

For several years now, Brauer has occasionally worked in front of the camera and as a radio play speaker. On television, among other things, the miniseries Tempel and the Tatort episode Borowski and the dark network could be seen.
