Maximiliano Samuel Romero (born January 9, 1999 in Moreno ) is an Argentine football player who is primarily used in the position of the striker .
Professional career
Romero began his career in 2005 with CA Vélez Sársfield . On February 9, 2016, he made his debut against Sarmiento in the Primera División. On February 14, 2016, he scored his first competitive goal in professional football in a 2-1 home win against Olimpo.
His move to PSV Eindhoven was announced on December 22, 2017 . Romero joined the team in January 2018 and signed a contract until June 2023. The transfer fee is said to have been around 10.5 million euros. After he was only used once in the league for Eindhoven, he was loaned back to Vélez Sársfield.
