Sam Lammers (born April 30, 1997 in Tilburg ) is a Dutch football player . He is under contract with PSV Eindhoven . He is also a young Dutch national player.

Career

Lammers started playing soccer in Goirle at VOAB and in 2005 moved to the joint soccer academy of Willem II Tilburg and RKC Waalwijk . In 2010 Lammers joined the PSV Eindhoven academy as a C-youth , signed his first professional contract on July 22, 2015 and made his first appearance in the Eredivisie on matchday nine of the 2016/17 season . In the 2017/18 season he was Dutch champion with PSV Eindhoven. For the 2018/19 season Lammers switched to SC Heerenveen on loan .

National team

Lammers played 14 games for the Dutch U-19 national team (ten goals) and took part in the U-19 European Championship in Germany in 2016 with this age group, where they reached the semi-finals. After five appearances for the U-20s , he made his first appearance for the Dutch U-21 national team on March 24, 2017 in a 1-0 win at a four-nation tournament against Finland in Spain .
