Mayo-Kebbi Est ( Mayo-Kebbi East ) is a region of Chad and corresponds to the northeastern part of the former Mayo-Kebbi Prefecture. Their capital is Bongor . In 2009 the region had a population of 774,782.

Mayo-Kebbi Est is located in the southwest of the country and borders on Cameroon . The region is named after the Mayo Kebbi River .
Mayo-Kebbi Est is divided into the four departments Kabbia (main town Gounou Gaya ), Mayo Lemie ( Guelendeng ), Mayo-Boneye (Bongor) and Mont d'Illi ( Fianga ).
Large parts of the region are under the protection of the Ramsar Convention , as they are part of the Plaines d'inondation du Logone et les dépressions Toupouri .
