The Medical Park Group is a clinic operator operating in Germany with its headquarters in Amerang (Bavaria).

Medical Park's 13 specialist clinics and three outpatient health centers specialize in follow-up treatment (AHB), rehabilitation and prevention .

The main indications are neurology , orthopedics , traumatology , sports medicine as well as internal medicine , cardiology , oncology and psychosomatics .

Medical Park is a private company owned by the founding family Freiberger .

history

In the mid-1990s, Ernst Freiberger bought what was then the “EFA Kurkliniken” from his parents. With the abolition of the classic spa system as part of the health reforms , these were soon threatened to exist. In response to this, investments were made in the clinics and, together with the change of name to "Medical Park", further development in the direction of follow-up treatment.

In the following years Medical Park grew through acquisitions of clinics, the establishment of new establishments and the expansion of the locations. The company looks after around 70,000 inpatients and outpatients.

Corporate structure

The Medical Park facilities have their origins in Upper Bavaria . Today the clinic group is also represented in Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia and Berlin. Three clinics are located on the Chiemsee (Bernau-Felden and Prien ), one in Loipl on the edge of the Berchtesgaden National Park , three in Bad Wiessee on the Tegernsee , two in Bad Feilnbach and one each in Bad Rodach , Bad Camberg , Bad Sassendorf and Berlin .

  • 1977: Medical Park Prien Kronprinz (orthopedics, internal medicine). The market in Prien am Chiemsee still holds 44.2% of this house.
