Megumi Kadonosono
Megumi Kadonosono ( Japanese 門 之 園 恵 美 , Kadonosono Megumi , real: Megumi Gotō ( 後 藤 恵 美 , Gotō Megumi ); * April 28, 1970 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese animator and character designer .
biography
After graduating from Yoyogi Animation Gakuin Osaka, she joined the anime studio Mu Film, a forerunner of today's Phoenix Entertainment. She made her animation debut there in 1992 as an intermediate draftsman in the hentai Chōshin Densetsu Urotsukidōji and in the same year as a key draftsman in Mahō no Princess Minky Momo . She later went to Tokyo, became a freelance key artist, and married the animator and character designer Keiji Gotō . In 1997 she made her debut as a character designer with Rayearth .
Together with her husband and screenwriter and mechanic designer Hidefumi Kimura , she founded the anime production group gímik .
