Metamorphosis is the fifth major label album by the California rock band Papa Roach . It was released on March 24, 2009 and was produced by Jay Baumgardner, who had also produced Papa Roach's most successful album, Infest (2000). Originally the album should be called "Days of War, Nights of Love". It appears on the Interscope Records label .
information
The album was supposed to be released on August 26, 2008. The band decided against it because they wanted to "start with a fresh new year". For this reason, it was released on March 24, 2009. Many of the songs have already been played live (Crüe Fest) and mostly changed or adapted very strongly, such as Hanging On , I Almost Told You That I Love You or Change Or Die . Musically, as on the previous album, there is a mixture of melancholy and rock songs. The video for the single Hollywood Whore has already been shot and is said to allude to Paris Hilton and Britney Spears . The video for the second single Lifeline was released at the end of February 2009.
