Michael Aničić (born October 18, 1974 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German soccer player and current coach.

Career

The left-footed career began at Eintracht Frankfurt , where he was presented for the first time in a Bundesliga match on March 6, 1993 in the top match against FC Bayern Munich . Although Eintracht lost 0: 1, the strong performance of the attacking midfielder brought him straight to the ZDF sports studio . Offers from the top clubs Bayer 04 Leverkusen , VfB Stuttgart and even FC Bayern Munich followed, but Aničić stayed with Eintracht. After 50 games and 5 goals in the Bundesliga and a very long injury, he went abroad. He played for three clubs ( Grazer AK , SV Ried , Hapoel Haifa ) three times for two years and saw his time in Austria and Israel as the best of his career.

Aničić then tried a comeback at SC Freiburg , but the bad luck with injuries caught up with him again. In 2003 he ended his contract with SC and in the 2003/04 season he wore the SV Darmstadt 98 jersey , with which he was promoted to the regional league south from the Hessian football league . Aničić left the "lilies" again and stayed in the league, where he stormed for half a year for 1. FC Eschborn and in the second half of the 2004/05 season for FSV Frankfurt . For the 2005/06 season he returned to Darmstadt at the age of 31 , where he wanted to fight for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga as team captain , but fell out of the squad due to illness during the first half of the season. After quarrels with the team and coach Bruno Labbadia , Aničić moved back to 1. FC Eschborn, which is now playing in the regional league.

When Eschborn had to file for bankruptcy a few days later , Aničić dissolved his contract again and moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena in the Regionalliga Nord in February 2006 . Thrown back from injuries, the midfielder only played in the Thuringian reserve after a short time. In the 2006/07 season he moved to the Baden-Württemberg top division club SV Waldhof Mannheim , where he returned to the squad after a suspension in February 2007, but his contract, which was actually still running for one year, was terminated in summer 2007. He moved a third time to SV Darmstadt 98 and contributed as a playmaker to the 2008 championship in the Oberliga Hessen . After the contract between Aničić and Darmstadt 98 was terminated in the summer of 2008, the player wanted to switch to the Hessian fifth division club RSV Würges , but apparently did not receive a game permit from the Hessian Football Association due to a formal error in the contract termination with Darmstadt 98 or the late conclusion of the contract with Würges the first half of the 2008/09 season. In January 2009 he completed a trial training at Barcelona SC Guayaquil in Ecuador , but was able to a. Not recommended for engagement due to problems with tropical heat and humidity. Instead, he signed a contract with Wormatia Worms, who played in the Regionalliga West , until the end of the season. There he ended his active career in the summer of 2009. From then on he was planned as a scout in the youth sector for the Wormatia and wanted to set up a football school with the club. In autumn 2009, however, he was reactivated by the Wormatia for a few games. He played his last soccer game on December 13, 2009.

Coaching career

After his active career, he started his first coaching job in the summer of 2010 and took over the Hessian FC Ober-Rosbach , which he led in his first season to the championship of the group league and promotion to the Verbandsliga Süd . In the summer of 2012, he dissolved his coaching contract with Ober-Rosbach and moved to the Hessian A-League club SV Fischbach as sporting director.
