Michael Pittnauer (born September 14, 1988 ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a center forward . He is currently playing at Floridsdorfer AC in the third-class Austrian Regional League East .

Career

Youth and club career

Pittnauer began his active career as a football player shortly after his eighth birthday in 1996 with SV Gols in what is now the 3670-strong community of Gols, east of Lake Neusiedl on the border with Hungary . At the sports club from the wine-growing community of Gols, he went through almost all the junior teams before moving to the Federal Youth Center (BNZ) Burgenland in early November 2002 . He was registered with the training center until the end of June 2003 before returning to his hometown club. Then he continued to play in the respective youth leagues until 2007.

During the summer break before the 2007/08 season , Pittnauer moved to SC-ESV Parndorf 1919, which was still in the second-class first division at the time.

He made his professional debut a few months later, on March 14, 2008, in a 0-0 home draw against FC Gratkorn . In the game, Pittnauer was substituted on in the 80th minute for Bernd Kaintz , a defender. During the season, the then 19-year-old center forward made three more short appearances, with his 3-0 home win over FK Austria Wien Amateurs on April 11, 2008, scoring his first professional goal in the 92nd minute after he had only scored in the 75th minute Minute for Richard Stern came into play.

At the end of the season, despite 37 points (the tenth-placed and therefore non-relegated ASK Schwadorf had 41 points), he was barely able to secure relegation and so Pittnauer and his teammates were relegated to the third-class Regionalliga Ost.

The 2008/09 season was quite passable for him from a gaming point of view. In 28 completed league games, in which he was on the pitch only four times, he scored a total of eleven goals. Together with four other players, he finished 9th in the list of goalscorers of the Regionalliga Ost; in the team's internal goalscorer list, he came in second behind Jailson (14 goals). At the championship final he was with SC-ESV Parndorf, with only seven points on the first-placed First Vienna FC 1894 in third place in the table. On August 14, 2008, Pittnauer caused a sensation in front of around 650 spectators in the home stadium, after scoring the 1-0 winning goal in the 119th minute of the game against FC Wacker Innsbruck , who had just been relegated from the Bundesliga , and so the Team ensured progress in the competition. He was substituted on for Olumuyiwa Aganun just 14 minutes earlier . Already in the second round of the competition , the team and Pittnauer achieved a similar sensation, after a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes of play on penalties to the eventual champions of the first division, SC Magna Wiener Neustadt , just 4-5 was subject.

In the 2009/10 season Pittnauer was used in 25 championship games and scored nine goals. He got his first hat trick for the Parndorfer club on August 7th, 2009 in a 5-1 home win over the FAC team for Vienna . In addition to Pittnauer's hits, his strike partner Jailson scored the other two hits. Pittnauer and his teammates also performed well at the 2009/10 ÖFB Cup . In the first round , they made up a 2-0 deficit against Bundesliga club Rapid Wien almost easily within a few minutes. At the end of the game, the team had to admit defeat 2: 3 by a goal from Christopher Drazan in the 120th minute of the game. The 2010/11 season was very successful for the attacker. In 22 completed league games, he had a total of 15 hits. On July 3, 2011 Pittnauer signed with league competitor SV Horn .

International

Pittnauer already made the acquaintance of the U-20 national team in his home country. In October 2008 he was nominated by U-20 team boss Andreas Heraf for the four nations tournament in the same year. In the 2-1 victory there over the U-20 national team from Germany , he was used from the 82nd minute for Jakob Jantscher .
