Career indoor volleyball

Biza first played indoor volleyball, as a teenager with Sokol Horní Počernice and then for four years with PVK Olymp Prague . Later he played for two years in the first division with MFF Prague, then in the extra league for two years for Vavex Příbram and finally seven years with the top club VK Dukla Liberec .

Career beach volleyball

Biza played with Michal Palinek at the European Championships in Jesolo in 2001 , but retired early after two defeats against the Italians Pimponi / Raffaelli and the Swedes Berg / Dahl . From 2002 to 2005 he formed a duo with Igor Stejskal , who achieved some top ten results in Challenger tournaments. At the EM 2005 in Moscow, Biza / Stejskal lost to the Germans Brink / Schneider and Galli / Raffaelli from Italy in the tiebreaker. A year later, Biza and Přemysl Kubala lost again at the EM in The Hague against Brink and Dieckmann , before failing in the losing round at the Esten Kais / Vesik .

In 2007, Biza and his new partner Martin Lébl competed at the World Championships in Gstaad . The opening win against the Russians Barsuk / Kolodinski wasn't enough for them to advance because they lost the remaining games in three sets. Two years later, Biza and Pavel Rotrekl qualified for the World Championships in Stavanger after several top ten placements in open tournaments . There the Czechs had to say goodbye after the preliminary round, despite being tied with two other teams. Then Biza played with Robert Kufa until the Prague Open 2010 .
