Michel Léveillé

Michel Léveillé (born April 3, 1981 in Lévis , Québec ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who last played for the Heilbronner Falken in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey .

Career

After his junior years in the British Columbia Hockey League , Léveillé played a total of four years at the University of Maine in the National Collegiate Athletic Association . In 2004 he was runner-up in the NCAA and led the team as captain on the field for the following three seasons . In April 2007 he signed a contract with the Toronto Marlies , for which he went on the ice until the end of the 2007/08 season in the American Hockey League . The following season the center moved to the Manchester Monarchs , where he only came to 20 appearances in the AHL before he joined the Charlotte Checkers , for which he played two seasons in the ECHL .

In 2010 Léveillé moved to Germany and signed a contract with the second division club Heilbronner Falken , which was extended by a year after a good first season .
