The Miebach is a flowing body of water between Lenzholz and the Steegerhöhe in Steeg in the municipality of Kürten .

course
The Miebach rises in the Auf'm Zimmerberg corridor between Lenzholz and Biesfeld at an altitude of 255 m above sea level. NHN and flows first to the south, then to the west past the villages of Strauch , Miebach and Katharinaglück . In Steeg it flows into the Dürschbach at the Steeger Berg nature reserve at an altitude of 170 m . The Miebach has no identifiable backwaters.
Catchment area
The catchment area is in the Paffrather Kalkmulde natural area and completely in the area of the municipality of Kürten. It is drained to the North Sea via Dürschbach, Sülz , Agger , Sieg and Rhine .
The catchment area of the Miebach borders
- in the northeast on the Elssiefen
- in the east to the Westerbach
- in the southeast on the Alemigssiefen and Börschbach ,
- otherwise to the receiving Dürschbach.
Agricultural areas dominate the floodplain of the brook.
