The Miebach rises in the Auf'm Zimmerberg corridor between Lenzholz and Biesfeld at an altitude of 255  m above sea level. NHN and flows first to the south, then to the west past the villages of Strauch , Miebach and Katharinaglück . In Steeg it flows into the Dürschbach at the Steeger Berg nature reserve at an altitude of 170  m . The Miebach has no identifiable backwaters.

Catchment area

The catchment area is in the Paffrather Kalkmulde natural area and completely in the area of ​​the municipality of Kürten. It is drained to the North Sea via Dürschbach, Sülz , Agger , Sieg and Rhine .
