The Perlbach is a river in Bavaria in the administrative districts of Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate , which drains into the rain from the left and southeast near Wiesing in the town of Roding in the Upper Palatinate district of Cham .

Surname

On the Lower Bavarian side and up to Falkenstein, the Perlbach still bears its original name Miethnach today. The name of the hamlet Mietnach am Perlbach (between Marienstein and Trasching ), west of the Zinzenberg , proves that the name Miethnach is the older one.

The Perlbach rises in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen south of Zinzenzell between Geraszell and the Edenhof. It flows roughly to the north-west, the upper course rather steadily, while the lower course makes a large, semi-circular arc to the south-west and back. Very soon he moved to the Upper Palatinate district of Cham , where he stayed in the rain until the mouth near Wiesing .

Larger tributaries are the left Geißbach near Völling , the left Urbachl near Au and the longest, last and right Neudecker Bach shortly after Trasching .
