Milán Szabó (born December 28, 1990 in Vác ) is a Hungarian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Milán Szabó lives in Gyöngyös . The student started biathlon in 1999. The student starts for Vasas Budapest . He contested his first race in 2007 as part of the European Cup . The first international championships were the Junior World Championships 2008 in Ruhpolding , where the Hungarian was 82nd in the individual and 76th in the sprint race. In 2009 she was at the Junior World Championships in Canmore 50th of the individual. It was not until the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2010 in Duszniki-Zdrój that Szabó came to another major international event. He was 39th in a sprint.

Szabó contested his first men's races in 2008 in Obertilliach and was 157th of the sprint. In Nové Město na Moravě he was able to achieve a double-digit placement for the first time a little later than the 69th of a sprint. It was not until 2012 that he won IBU Cup points in Canmore as the 39th of a sprint in the first IBU Cup races outside of Europe. The first international championships for men were the 2012 European Championships in Osrblie , where Szabó missed the pursuit race as 67th of the sprint race.

In cross-country skiing, Szabó competed in his first race in January 2007 in the Slavic Cup , and later also in the Alpine Cup and FIS races. A month later, the first start at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Jaca , where he was 78th over 10-kilometer freestyle. This was followed by the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 , where Szabó was 91st in the freestyle sprint. In 2010 he started at the Junior World Championships in Hinterzarten and finished 86th in the 10-kilometer classic and did not finish the race in the 20-kilometer pursuit. A second start at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2011 followed at Holmenkollen in Oslo , where Szabó competed again in the freestyle sprint and again missed the final in 82nd place.
