Milijewe ( Ukrainian Мілієве ; Russian илиево Milijewo , Romanian Milie , German  Millie ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Chernivtsi Oblast with about 2000 inhabitants (2001).

Church in the village

The village, first mentioned in writing in 1445, has been administratively part of the Vyshnytsia district since December 2016 ( Вижницька міська територіальна громада ) in Vyshnytsia district . Until then, it was the administrative center of the district council of the same name , which also included the villages of Kybaky ( Кибаки , ) with about 600 inhabitants and Serednij Majdan ( Середній Майдан , ) with about 190 inhabitants.

The village is located in Bukovina at an altitude of 279  m on the right bank of the Cheremosh , 11 km northeast of the municipality and district center of Vyshnytsia and about 55 km west of the Chernivtsi Oblast center . The Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast begins on the opposite bank of the Cheremosh .

Through the village, one station on the railway line Sawallja-Vyzhnytsia has extending territorial road T-26-01 .
