Mindshare is a global media and marketing agency founded in 1997 with headquarters in New York and London . The company employs a total of around 6,000 people and is represented with 115 offices in 82 countries. The most important corporate division is digital services. The agency is a wholly owned subsidiary of the British WPP Group and part of the sub-holding GroupM . The regional headquarters for the DACH region is located in Frankfurt am Main on Darmstädter Landstrasse .

history

In 1997 the agency was created as a start-up from the merger of the media departments of Ogilvy & Mather and JWT . The company initially had 60 employees. Early customers included IBM , Unilever, and the Ford Motor Company . A year later branches were opened in Austria and Switzerland. With the acquisition of Lufthansa , Nike and Allianz , the year 2000 became one of the fastest growing periods for the young company. In 2008 a restructuring took place.

Mindshare Germany has received numerous awards, including the German Media Prize 2010, 2013 and 2014, the Bronze Media Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2013, the Global Effie 2010 and 2013 and the Eurobest 2013.
