Minjajliwka ( Ukrainian Міняйлівка ; Russian Меняйловка Menjailowka , Romanian Manja ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Odessa Oblast with about 1600 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in Budschak in 1860 , is the administrative center of the eponymous, 54.22 km² district council in the north of Sarata Rajon , to which the village of Furatiwka ( Фуратівка , Romanian Aneşti , German Annowka , ⊙ ) located northwest of Minjajliwka, was founded by Bessarabian Germans . with about 200 inhabitants.
The village is located at an altitude of 41 m at the mouth of the 27 km long Kipchak ( Кіпчак ) in the Sarata , a 120 km long tributary to Lake Sassyk . Minjajliwka is located on the border with the Republic of Moldova , 47 km north of the Sarata district center and 110 km west of the Odessa oblast center .
In October 2018, the village was temporarily quarantined due to an anthrax outbreak among the population.
