The leaves have a 3 to 4 centimeter long, stem-round, tomentose, star-haired stem. The leaf blade is rarely from 5, usually 9 to 12 centimeters long and from 4, usually 7 to 9.5 centimeters wide, ovate-rounded, pointed, with a heart-shaped, rarely oblique base and serrated leaf margin. The inflorescences are 6 to 8 centimeters long cymes of three to twelve flowers . The flower stalk is hairy gray tomentose. The bracts are sessile or have a 2 to 3 millimeter long stem. They are 8 to 12 centimeters long and 1.5 to 2.5 centimeters wide, oblong-inverted-lanceolate, with a blunt end, narrow wedge-shaped base and fused with the inflorescence axis over a length of 4 to 6 centimeters. Both leaf sides are covered with star hair. The flower stalk is 8 to 12 millimeters long. The sepals are 5 to 6 millimeters long and hairy gray. The petals are slightly longer than the sepals. The stamens are slightly shorter than the petals, the five staminodes are slightly shorter than the stamens. The ovary is hairy. The stylus is the same length as the petals.
