Misha Kovar
Misha Kovar (* March 6 in Opava as Michaela Kovarikova ) is an Austrian singer in the area hit , Musical and actress .
life and career
Misha Kovar graduated from the Vienna Conservatory in 1998 . During her studies she got the role of Sarah in the musical Dance of the Vampires . Further engagements followed, including in Jekyll & Hyde (Cologne and Bremen), Evita (Lübeck, Trier, Wiesbaden, Dresden), Der Ring (Saarbrücken), Phantasma (Saarbrücken), Ludwig² (Kempten and Füssen). In 2019 she played the title role Johanna in the musical Die Päpstin ( Füssen ). In 2020 she played the premiere weekend of the musical Die Päpstin ( Schwäbisch Gmünd ).
She was selected for the German original production of We Will Rock You (Cologne). Kovar sang the song No-One but you , which was written by Brian May for Freddie Mercury after his death.
In addition to her musical engagements, Kovar has appeared on stages at various international events. She was a member of the girl band T Kay Oh in the USA (music label Def Jam Island Records Jay-Z ), performed on the European tour with Lumidee , sang with Queen in the Rheinenergiestadion in Cologne, performed at the ZDF New Year's Eve gala "Willkommen 2012" and played with Götz George in the classic film Schimanski . As a singer, she released three singles from the pop-hit genre, all of which reached top positions in various download charts.
Misha Kovar was just on stage with hit legend GG Anderson, Petra Frey in Innsbruck. During the concert there was an ARD report (Brisant) , where the Austrian was seen.
She was interviewed in front of the camera in the broadcast Studio 2 on ORF 2 on August 21, 2020.
