Miss B. Haven was a Danish rock band that existed from 1986 to 1997.

Band history

Cabble , Mathiesen and Skoven played together in a band called Clinic Q as early as 1984 , and in the summer of 1986 they founded "Miss B. Haven" with Eriksen. The band had a few hits in Danish in their homeland , including Fange i dit hjerte (1988). In 1989 the keyboardist Grooss joined the band. In the same year in was London -established English-language album Nobody's Angel , which by Jeff Lynne and the former Transvision Vamp - producers produced Duncan Bridgeman. Mathiesen, in turn, played on Lynne's solo release Armchair Theater .

Skoven left the band in the mid-1990s, began studying theology and then worked as a priestess in Copenhagen . She died of lung cancer on March 27, 2013. The band was disbanded in 1997. Cabble and Mathiesen are still active as composers and lyricists and as such have already taken part in the national final selection for the Eurovision Song Contest several times . You wrote the title Fra Mols til Skagen for Aud Wilken , who was born in the GDR and reached fifth place in 1995. Cabble also took part in the Danish qualification for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 , but their titles Det 'det and Big bang baby were subject to Believe Again , written by Ronan Keating among others . In 2013 they were successful with the title Only Teardrops , with which Emmelie de Forest won the Eurovision Song Contest. The keyboardist Grooss switched to the Danish band Jodeladies , which play folk music with German lyrics.
