Only Teardrops is an English-language song by Danish singer Emmelie de Forest from 2013 and the first single from her studio album Only Teardrops . It is the winning title of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö and thus marks Denmark's third victory in the Eurovision Song Contest . Only Teardrops was written by Lise Cabble , Julia Fabrin Jakobsen and Thomas Stengaard.

Only Teardrops was composed by Lise Cabble, Julia Fabrin Jakobsen and Thomas Stengaard. Within the Danish preliminary decision Dansk Melodi Grand Prix Emmelie de Forest reached the final and prevailed with 26 points in the Jyske Bank Kasten in Herning . She then took part in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö on May 18, 2013, after winning it in the first semi-final with 167 points. In the vote, she received at least one point from all countries. San Marino is an exception. De Forest received the top score of 12 points eight times and won the 58th Eurovision Song Contest with 281 points.
