Mljet ( Italian Meleda ) is a municipality in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County , Croatia , on the island of the same name .
The municipality of Mljet consists of 20 small settlements, of which the main town Babino Polje is the largest. The municipality has 1,088 inhabitants (2011 census).
