  • Church in Hohenroda

The brick church in Hohenroda dates from 1861, making it the youngest church in the Krostitz parish. A previous building was demolished to the ground because it was in disrepair. The inventory includes an altar with a baptismal font and a pulpit, which the Hohenroda community bought after it was expanded in Delitzsch. The organ from 1860 comes from the Eilenburg master organ builder Conrad Geißler. The clockwork on the church tower is wound daily.

  • Church in Mocherwitz

The Romanesque village church in Mocherwitz dates from the 11th century. The church tower and nave are the same width. The church has three bronze bells; the oldest bell is from the 14th century, the other two are from 1881. The inventory includes a font from 1600, a wooden altar wall from 1892 and a baroque organ from 1721.

  • Post mill

In 1722 a post mill was built by Gottfried Christoph Leine , which was operated by various owners as an oil and grain mill by wind turbine until 1913. An electric motor was then installed. In 1958 the milling operation ended. The building, which had fallen into disrepair due to the weather, was dismantled in 1997 and moved to its current location. It is owned by the municipality and can be viewed as a technical monument. In addition to the mill itself, there is also a historic oven, an exhibition of old agricultural machinery and agricultural equipment and a small animal enclosure.
